It’s just the helmet though, which means you won’t be rubbing Master Chief all over your body any time soon. But at least it’s scented three different ways. The people–or person–at Digital Soaps made sure their new Halo line packs a lot of novelty, thus explaining the color scheme of the Spartan soaps selling at their Etsy haven.
Ah, Etsy. It’s like Walmart for people on the fringe. Too quirky for the mainstream, too straight-laced for the underground. Anyway, seen above is just a single example of the Spartan helmet soap. Not really sure about its profound anti-bacterial properties but Digital Soaps have a solid enough following who swear by their effectiveness.
The green Spartan helmet soap variant is actually Mountain Dew odored. Yes, after the soda drink. Not sure if that will attract enthusiastic buyers, but maybe the people who often dine in fast food joints will appreciate the nod to a favorite beverage. The alternate red and blue versions go for Dr. Pepper and Pepsi. Not sure if a Coca-Cola ‘flavor’ will ever materialize.
When it comes to Digital Soaps, the fledgling company’s fixation on PC peripherals and game controllers made of soap has produced an impressive inventory. It’s worth a good few minutes of browsing. This latest venture into Halo seems a step in a new direction though. You might not want to miss it.
