Here is a fun pair of cufflinks which would make a great addition to any geeks wardrobe, the <Home End> Computer Key Cufflinks.
These fun geeky cufflinks are made from sterling silver wrapped around a pair of black plastic computer keys.

These one definitely look a lot more stylish than some of the computer key cufflinks we have seen, if you want a set they are available for $125 from Creative Dexterity.

At times people tend to forget the time and labor that go into a handmade piece of jewelry/craft/art.
As a self employed artist my pricing system for my work is based on:
Materials (doubled) + labor (hourly wage) = wholesale price. Double that and you get a retail price, which most artists sell at to be fair with their relationships through other stores/galleries.
I’m afraid $2.00 doesn’t even cover the cost for one sterling cufflink back! $125.00 also covers the fees for selling them through etsy and paypal site.
These cufflinks are not created from a mold or have a stamp “made in” insert foreign country manufacturing company here. Before taking a metalsmithing class I thought it was ridiculous what artists and crafters where asking for their work. However by taking a class I not only did I find a passion for creating I understood the process and time that took to make a piece of work.
