The Puma Phone

Puma has teamed up with Sagem to produce a new mobile phone, the Puma Phone. The Puma Phone features a solar panel on the back of the handset that is designed to charge the phones battery when you are out in the sun.

The Puma Phone features a 2.8 inch QVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, and it also had a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and six times digital zoom. It also features another forward facing camera which can be used for VGA video conferencing.

Aperture 3.0 Crashing Hard Drives Worldwide

The recently released professional photo software Aperture 3.0  by Apple has been causing entire Mac hard drives to lock.  The apparent memory leak bug in Aperture 3.0 is allowing the software to create enormous page files which take up all available storage space on the Macs make them fail.

a large number of disgruntled Aperture 3.0 users are complaining on the Apple discussion forums about the problems.  “It’s the worst Apple upgrade I’ve ever had, Aperture 3 is now unusable to me.” Discoteca claims.

We have already seen the new HTC Legend and HTC HD Mini, now we have another new snartphone from HTC for today, the HTC Desire.

The HTC Desire shares almost identical specifications to the HTC made Google Nexus One. It features the same 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, has the same 1GHz Qualcomm snapdragon processor, a microSD card slot, GPS, A-GPS, and it runs Google Android 2.1.
