The Map2 is a paper map that has four quadrants, which can be unfolded for a detailed view of the area. Each quadrant features detailed maps underneath its folds and is a clever invention. Each section can be quickly unfolded and refolded, allowing for immediate magnification.
Unfortunately, the use of paper maps has greatly declined. Today, people use map software, mapping websites or GPS devices to figure out where they are going. Although digital maps have many benefits and great zooming capabilities, the Map2 is a clever map for people that still appreciate the value of a paper map. The best thing about a paper map is that it requires no batteries and will work perfectly fine without an Internet connection.
The Map2 retails for $13 and is printed on tear-resistant paper. The map also comes with a PVC wallet for safekeeping. Currently, the map is only available in London, but is a perfect way to navigate the city’s museums, galleries, and other sights.
