Gamers interested in learning more about the graphic capabilities of the Xbox One X vs PlayStation 4 Pro may be interested in a new video published by Digital Foundry today. Providing a direct comparison of the two flagship consoles from Microsoft and Sony while playing the new Metal Gear Survive Beta at 4K Ultra HD resolutions.
The video below shows graphical comparisons as well as tests the frame rate of each games console when playing this early beta build of Meta Gear Survive and puts the new powerful consoles against their older Xbox One and PlayStation 4 counterparts. Check out the results below, but do remember these tests have been carried out on the beta development release and are sure to change before the final Meta Gear Survive game is officially launched.
Meta Gear Survive is currently under development by Konami, built on the Fox games engine, with preparations in place to officially launched next month on February 20th, 2018, available to play on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
As you would expect the survival action adventure game is played from a third-person perspective and allows players to explore an open world environment. Offering both single and multiplayer cooperative modes, allowing for friends to team up to complete missions. The game can also be played solo, accompanied by three AI teammates to which the player can issue orders. Unfortunately, Meta Gear Survive will include micro-transactions which will hopefully not be detrimental to the game.
