Microsoft has this week announced they have made more GPU bandwidth available for Xbox One developers to increase the resolution of their new next generation games that are currently in development.
Yesterday Microsoft released the updated version of their Xbox One development kit to its creative community, which has been created to provide game developers with more access to the console’s graphics processing unit or GPU.
As well as offering Xbox One developers more graphic power to enhance their games, Microsoft have also rolled out a number of new enhancements and tools which have been added to provide more “ flexibility” for developers to be able to make their Xbox One games even better.
Earlier this month Microsoft also ruled out the latest Xbox One June update for gamers to enjoy, that brought with it a number of new features and enhancements to the console’s firmware and also enabled the ability to connect external storage to your Xbox One console.
It now seems that the next-generation console is heating up nicely and is providing more features and functionality for both Microsoft and Sony gamers to enjoy. Even though Sony’s PlayStation 4 has been outselling Microsoft’s Xbox One since launch. Microsoft is making a number of changes to its Xbox One, such as removing the need to purchase a KInect gesture control device and also opening up more performance. As well as reducing the price to compete on a more level playing field with Sony’s PlayStation 4 console.
