A team of developers based in Cambridge, Massachusetts within the US have unveiled a new educational robot which has been designed specifically for “curious kids” and named the Woobo.
The cuddly robot has been designed to be interactive and easy-to-use and offers a “smart friend” who is capable of answering curious questions as well as being a “goofy playmate with a hilarious personality”.
Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the launchpad and learning robot which offers a wealth of educational activities. The creators and developers of Woobo explain more about its inspiration and design :
Woobo is an educational high-tech playmate who is knowledgeable, encouraging, and constantly learning. Woobo is a smart launchpad helping with curiosity who can answer questions in a kid-friendly way and play creative games that make children laugh and inspire further exploration. Woobo is also a friendly reminder about healthy habits, so as kids grow more independent, they have a friend to practice with!
Woobo is a knowledgeable, furry friend who knows the answers to millions of curious questions. Kids can directly ask Woobo about things they wonder and Woobo responds in a kid-friendly way to encourage more exploration. Like a launchpad for learning, Woobo can provide and propose a variety of interactions for kids that encourage curiosity and exploration. Our content team has helped Woobo learn more than 40 different activities to share with your child, all of which were crafted and selected carefully for best development values in children.
Earlybird backers can pledge from $119 with delivery expected to take place during December 2017.
