Wolfram Alpha recently updated its vast wealth of knowledge with anything and everything Pokemon related anyone could think of. This update comes just in time for Pokemon X and Y players to use their iPhones to answer any question they could have by simply asking Siri.
Which Pokemon has the highest attack? Which Pokemon weighs the most? How much do all 649 weigh together? These questions and much more are now just a voice command away for iPhone users.
In case you didn’t know, or already surmise, Siri uses Wolfram Alpha – a fact I was unaware of until I read this tidbit of news myself. Apparently there are some Pokemon fans working at Wolfram Alpha, and they’re more than willing to add even more Pokemon data if they’re asked to.
Being a real life Pokedex is probably the first pro I’ve heard about the iPhone that makes me actually want one. It still doesn’t make up for everything else I don’t like, but as someone who grew up during the Pokemon craze, it’d be a childish dream come true.
Kids really don’t know how lucky they are nowadays. I remember having the old pokedex toy that did nothing and thinking it was awesome.
What do you remember about Pokemon’s golden age?
