Electronics developer Martin Cote who has over 25 years of IT and electronics experience has created a three axis wireless gyroscope called the Zita V2. As the name suggests the latest gyroscope development board builds on previous system and offers a tiny, lightweight gyroscope with PPM output option. Watch the promotional video below to learn more about its features and watch the development board, specifically designed for FPV head tracking, robotics, movement control and video games.
Launched via Kickstarter this week the wireless gyroscope board is now available to back with early bird pledges available from just £28 or roughly $37 or C$49 depending on your location. Offering a 20% discount off the recommended retail price which will take effect once the crowdfunding campaign comes to a close.
“The 3 axis motion sensor gyroscope allows you to track the movement of the head or arm and replicate it to servos. Like the wired version Iota V2, the Zita V2 can be configured as normal or reverse action mode but wirelessly! It can also outputs signals in PPM. For Do It Yourself (DIY) home project lover who dreams of doing a head tracking system FPV themselves. This system has been specially designed for DIY in electronics or robotics for all ages people who wants to explore electronics and want their own system, but are less comfortable with advanced programming of accelerometers. You can use one or more axes (X, Y, Z) independently.”
