A new smartphone controlled paper airplane has been created by Toys Tekk called the Whoopr, that has been designed to be controlled by a 2.4 GHZ radio controlled or smartphone device.
The receiver module within the paper airplane is equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and the airframe body is constructed from durable nylon.
The plane can be charged from flat in around 30 minutes, which provides around an 8 minute flying time for users and comes supplied with a dual motor propulsion system. Its creators explain :
“Whoopr Paper Airplane flying through the air with smooth, life-like motion. This amazing Whoopr provides hours of remote control fun, both indoors and outdoors. It can fly with a standard 2.4 GHz radio controller or Smartphone controlled device, the 2.4 GHz/ radio controller has the characteristics of longer control distance, strong anti-interference ability, small power consumption, and rapid response. The Whoopr Paper Airplane is fun for children and adults.”
