If you are like me and always running out of storage space, you will be pleased to know that Western Digital is hoping to start shipping its new 3.5 inch 3TB drives later this month.
The only 3TB drives currently on the market are created and shipped by Seagate, a 3TB drive available as an external drive or included in Seagate’s BlackArmor NAS device.
It is expected that the Caviar Black, Blue, and Green products will be upgraded to 3TB versions, as will WD’s external drive products like the Elements and MyBook ranges.
