If you need to monitor your blood pressure or other vital signs of those of other people on a daily basis. You might be interested in a new blood pressure reading iPhone case called Wello which has been unveiled by Azoi this week.
The Wello iPhone case is embedded with a small chip, and two sensors on the rear. That when touched for a few seconds can read a persons vital signs including blood oxygen level, blood pressure, electrocardiography (ECG), heart rate, respiration and temperature.
The Wello blood pressure reading iPhone case connects to your iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S using Bluetooth 4.0 collectivity and data regards your blood pressure and vitals is then displayed on on screen via the companion application.
As well as displaying your current vital signs the Wello companion application will also record your data over time and provide important feedback and highlight patterns that may be developing.
Currently the Wello is only available for iOS devices but Azoi are currently developing an Android application and are in discussion with other case manufacturers to develop their product further.
