Apple iPad 2 is still available in the Apple Store, and comes with a hefty $399 price tag for the 16GB model. This might be a high price for a tablet that’s almost 2 years old, and one can’t justify this high price as users can easily get the iPad Mini with Retina display for the same price.
But, if you’re thinking about saving a few quick extra bucks, and have no issues with the iPad 2, Walmart has slashed the price of the tablet by $100, bringing it down to $299 for the next 30 days.
In addition, customers can also trade-in their current iPad, and get a credit of at least $100, depending on the condition of the tablet. Customers can trade-in any model of the iPad and receive the credit in the form of a gift card, which can be utilized at Walmart when shopping online or in-store.
It’s not just Apple tablets, Walmart will also give you at least $100 when you upgraded your current smartphone and sign up a new two-year contract with AT&T or Verizon for the following smartphones: Apple iPhone 5S 16GB, Apple iPhone 5C 16 GB, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Mega and Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The amount you can get depends on the condition of the tablet, the better it is, more credit you’ll receive.
If you’re thinking about trading your smartphone and upgrading it, now might be a good time to pay Walmart a visit.
