In the computer world most of us want everything to be smaller when it comes to accessories. We want smaller screens, smaller netbooks, and most of us really want the things that we plug into the USB ports to be smaller when possible. I always hate giant WiFi adapters sticking out of the USB port on my computer.
Trendnet has a new WiFi adapter that the company claims is the smallest in the world. The tiny adapter measures in at 0.59″ x 0.74″ x 0.28″ and when plugged in only 0.3″ of the thing sticks out of the USB port. The adapter is a dead ringer for the tiny Unifying Receivers Logitech uses for wireless mice and keyboards.
The adapter supports speeds up to 150Mbps and has a button for WPS. The WPS button makes it simple to set up a secure wireless network at the press of a button. The adapter is shipping right now for $39.99.
