If you are looking for a bag that can help keep your gadgets and smartphones topped up with juice while you are away from the grid. You might be interested in the new Power Commute and Power Q bags which have been created by Timbuk2.
Timbuk2 has partnered with Joey Energy to create the bags which are fitted with Joey’s T1 Power Supply which can be charged via a standard wall power socket when required.
The intenal power supply consists of a USB port that will allow you to charge a variety of devices and mobile gadgets such as smartphones, tablets and Kindles, MP3 players and GPS units to name just a few. Timbuk2 CEO Mike Wallenfels explains:
“There are a few ‘battery’ and power bags on the market, however none are from existing or trusted manufacturers in a lightweight, simple and compact format that also charges different brands and types of technology while on the go,” -“Timbuk2’s core consumer has a nomadic lifestyle. It made sense for us to partner with Joey Energy to offer the most innovative charging capabilities designed to keep consumers moving in two of Timbuk2’s top selling bag styles.”
Both new Timbuk2 bags will be arriving in October and be made available to order from the Timbuk2 website for $199, arriving in stores during February 2013.
