We mean it’s pure sun powered. No electricity or bulbs needed. The lovely square light contraption sucks in the rays and viola! There’s light! Though we suggest it’s left near a window to better fulfill its purpose.
Igland Design from Denmark re its creators and the Pure Sun (yes, that’s its name) is a box that has an angled mirror inside. It would also make a great coffee table if you’re willing to put up with the obstructed light.
See those knob dials? That’s what you have in lieu of a switch. You twist them to adjust the mirror. The Pure Sun is an eco-aware appliance that’s rather odd in our book. First, there’s no pricing availale. Second, it will have to be adjusted at different times of day. The sun doesn’t stay in one place, you know.
Too bad you can’t use it at night or when it’s overcast.
