Here is a fun design concept from designer Yan Lu, which is designed to make you think about how much water you use when you are washing your hands.
As you can see in the photo, the sink has a fishbowl on top of it, and the more water you use, the lower the level in the fishbowl gets, which should make you think about how much water you are using.
Once the fishbowl reaches a certain level it will fill back up, so the water never goes too low for the goldfish, the water you wash your hands with isn’t actually from the fish bowl but it is designed to look like that.
It seems like a fun concept, I am not sure how practical it would be, and I doubt the goldfish would be very happy moving up and down the goldfish ball all day with the water level going up and down.
