Yesterday, it was reported that Android 4.4 KitKat update for the HTC One on AT&T and T-Mobile have received approval from both carriers and should roll out in the coming days.
Well, if you’re rocking a T-Mobile HTC One, it’s time you try and check for the update as it’s rolling out as we speak.
Sized at 563MB, the update build appears to be 4.19.531.10, and comes with a bunch of improvements and bug fixes. It brings almost the same set of updates as the other HTC One variants, including Cloud Print Services, new Bluetooth profiles, security enhancements, along with all the goodies and features that come with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat including white status bar icons, ability to choose hangouts as the default SMS/MMS app and more.
The update is rolling out as we speak, but it can take a while for it to reach all devices. You may have to wait for a little while, but if it’s not possible, you can manually check the update from your settings app.
As far as AT&T HTC One is concerned, well the update has received technical approval so it shouldn’t take too much time for the over-the-air update to begin.
We’ll update you as soon as it rolls out.
