All major carriers and retail partners in the United States started taking pre-orders of the Galaxy Note 8 on August 24th with the shipping starting from September 15th. However, it seems T-Mobile customers may get their devices a little earlier.
Recently, T-Mobile customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 8 started receiving text message from the carrier about the status of their shipments. It said that the units are being packed and will be dispatched soon, hinting at a slightly early delivery than the official availability date.
The messages are served as reminders to let the customers know about their cards being charged after the units are shipped. Since the messages are being sent, there’s a possibility that T-Mobile users may get their handset earlier then September 15th. It’s worth mentioning this is not the first time customers may get their pre-orders ahead of official availability as similar scenarios have happened in the past.
The handset comes with a 6.3-inch display sporting a resolution of 2960 by 1440 pixels, an Exynos 8995 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Other features includes a dual 12MP camera for photos and videos, a 3,300 MAh battery, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE, it features an iris scanner, facial recognition, fingerprint scanner and Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system.
