Streetboardz has created a new Switch Surf Training Skateboard which provides a couple of skate modes to enable young people to grow into skilled skateboarders and “spark a life-long passion for board riding.” Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the new skateboard training hardware which has been designed by a small development team based in Sydney, Australia.
Now available to back via Kickstarter with early bird pledges starting from AU$99 or £54 the Switch Surf Training Skateboard will start shipping during September 2018. “With surfing and skating becoming Olympic sports for the first time in 2020, chances are some time soon that your child will try to ride a skateboard – better that they learn safely on a Switch”
The Switch Surf Training Skateboard is equipped with a number of features for beginners including a leash break stops the board rolling away from underneath those new to skateboarding, the cruise mode which allows you to push a skateboard with more stability and the serve training mode which allows users to carbon build on skills that are easily adaptable to surfing and snowboarding.
