StringPad based in Belgium has created a new pair of headphones which are being marketed as the world’s first motion simulator headphones that can provide 4D audio for a more immersive experience.
Watch the promotional video below to learn more about the unique headphones which have been launched by Kickstarter this week to help raise the €80,000 the team require to take their design into production.
Always felt that there was something missing while gaming or watching movies? That it could be just that bit more awesome? So did we! That’s why we created StringPad headphones, the world’s first motion simulation headset: all the power of a motion sim setup in just a pair of headphones! StringPad takes haptic feedback* to the next level.*
StringPad makes it possible for users to « feel » the digital world: you can hear ànd feel every sound and movement around you in the game or movie. Gunning your way through your favorite game is much more satisfying when you feel every shot fired from your rifle like a jarring vibration to the back of your head. (*Haptic or tactile feedback, often referred to as simply “haptics”, is the use of the sense of touch.)*
