In the past few days, a number of rumors have emerged that hinted towards the possible launch of the second generation Nexus 7 tablet. Rumors also suggest that the tablet will hit the shelves by the end of this month. By looking at the current deals and prices that are being offered at different retailers, one can say that the rumors might be correct. Staples earlier reduced the prices of the tablets to $179 and $199, respectively.
The company is now offering a $30 discount on the Android tablet using a coupon code, reducing its price further from $179 to $149 for the 16GB version while the 32GB version has been dropped to $169 from $199.
This is a deal one cannot simply miss, if you were waiting to get your hands on Google Nexus 7, I think this might be the best time, even for the first generation version. When you order it online from Staples, just use the coupon code 20098 that will cut the price by $30. However, you can use the codes once per order. If you order it from Staples, you also get the option to pick up the device from a select store, for free.
Well, getting rid of the inventory is one of the most popular reasons to offer price cuts for their products. Is the release of the next generation Nexus 7 imminent? I guess we will find out in a few weeks.
