Sprint data has unveiled a new addition to their range of modems this week in the form of the Sierra Wireless 4G LTE Tri-Fi Hotspot. Which is the first device to be able to support 4G LTE, 4G WiMAX and 3G connections in one device.
The new Sierra Wireless Tri-Fi Hotspot will be arriving in stores on may 18th and will be priced at $99. Its also equipped with a microSD slot allows you to share files and presentations across your connected networks, and it also has the ability to be used as a digital media server. David Owens, vice president-Product Development, Sprint explains:
“Sprint and Sierra Wireless are once again giving customers the flexibility to enjoy 4G performance in any Sprint 4G WiMAX market along with our upcoming 4G LTE markets or Sprint’s reliable 3G network when outside a 4G area,”-“Sierra Wireless Tri-Fi Hotspot combines simplicity with compact portability and security to make it ideal for both personal and business use in a variety of situations.”
The Sierra Wireless Tri-Fi Hotspot is fitted with a 3600mAh battery, capable of providing up to eight hours of use and up to eight weeks on standby.
