Several carriers are releasing the Android 7.0 Nougat update for a number of handsets. Sprint users tied to the Galaxy S6 or the S6 Edge are in luck as the carrier is now rolling out the latest operating system for the handsets.
It’s not just Sprint, Verizon is also in the process of releasing the Android 7.0 Nougat update for a number of its handsets, including the Galaxy Note 5 as well as the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
The update is sized at 1GB so make sure you’re tied to a WiFi network before you download the update. The update is rolled out in phases so stay calm if you don’t see the notification right away — it will reach your device. Alternatively, you can manually check for the update from Settings and see if its available for your device.
