Despite the fact that the guys of Top Gear on BBC tend to be American haters from time to time I really like the show. My favorite part is when The Stig gets to thrash awesome cars around the Top Gear test track. If you are a fan of Top Gear and need a new speaker for your iPhone you are in luck today.
Speakal has licensed a couple designs from BBC and is offering a speaker/iPhone dock that looks like The Stig’s helmet from Top Gear. Sci Fi fans might like the Bluetooth Dr. Who Tardis speaker even more. The Tardis speaker has 25W of total power and connects via Bluetooth to any compatible device.
It uses a built-in digital amplifier for quality sound. The Stig speaker presumably has the same specs under the helmet design. The Stig version does show a small pic with an iPhone docked on top. Pricing and availability are unknown, but I know there are some Dr. Who fans out there in a tizzy right now.
