Earlier this month, Sony announced a trio of devices which includes two smartphones and a tablet — Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.
T-Mobile is all set to introduce the Xperia Z3 to its customers this all, with rumors suggesting that it will launch on Verizon too. Now, Sony Mobile US website lists the three devices as coming soon, giving interested customers the ability to pre-register to know as soon as the handset is available for sale in the US.
Sony Xperia Z3 comes with top-of-the-line specifications on board, rocking a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card support of up to 128GB. There’s a 20.7MP camera for photos and videos, 2.2MP front-facing camera, a 3,100 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system out of the box.
The miniature version of the flagship, Xperia Z3 Compact, comes with a similar set of specifications with a few changes. It comes with a smaller 4.6-inch 720p display, features 2GB of RAM instead of 3GB and has a 2,600 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset.
As for the Xperia Z3 Tablet, it comes with an 8-inch display with a 1900 by 1200 pixels resolution, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage with a microSD card slot, a 4,500 mAh battery, 8.1MP rear camera with autofocus, 2.2MP secondary camera, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
