We have been waiting to find out when Sony Ericsson’s new gaming smartphone would be available, and now it looks like the Xperia Play will go on sale in the UK on the 31st of March.
Sony has announced that the Xperia Play will come with six games installed at launch and it will be available to UK customers from Thursday the 31st of March, although they still haven’t confirmed any pricing.
Sony Ericsson told MCV that Xperia Play be backed by the biggest UK marketing campaign ever, so we can expect to see Xperia Play adverts everywhere over the next few weeks.
The Xperia Play will launch in the UK with a total of six games pre-installed, these games include Fifa 10, The Sims 3, Tetris, Bruce Lee Dragon Warriors, Start Battalion and Crash Bandicoot.
There will also be a total of fifty different games available to download at launch through Sony’s PlayStation suite, and this will include classic PSone games and also new games.
