How? By having a sonar device detect whether a user is in front of the PC station. When the user/person leaves, the station logs off automatically, leaving no room for compromise.
The USB keyboard also has more than a few additional security features to protect the user’s work in the office or place of employment. Aside form its built-in sonar capability, the user can access the station where the keyboard is being used through a proximity badge or fingerprint reader.
The user can also program settings that are saved onto the keyboard for maximum security confidence. This is possible thanks to the SonarLocID’s flash memory, which can store sequenced strokes and other user specific procedures that enables it to deny intruders access.
We have to admit, the SonarLocID is the closest you’ll get to having an armed guard at your cubicle/workstation. This is a bit weird, but we’re at pains trying to find pricing information for it. Better yet, go here for extra details.
