The Spark Tablet Case’s solar panels generate around 8 watts of power to provide your iPad with about an hours worth of juice for every hour the solar panels are in direct sunlight. Included in the bag is a battery capable of holding a full iPad charge and requires around 8 – 9 hours of direct sunlight to fully charge.
The Solar Spark case weighs in at 2lbs and measures 13.5″ high x 10.5″ wide x 1.5″ deep (34 x 27 x 4 cm), its outer is constructed from recycled PET and fitted with waterproof solar panels and includes inside mesh pockets to keep your other gadgets tidy.
The Spark Tablet Case will also charge a variety mobile phones and the bag’s voltage output can also be adjusted from 6V to 12V to charge larger 7.4V DSLR camera batteries if required.
The Solar Spark case will start shipping in the Northern Hemisphere Spring 2011, no price has been released as yet.
