Skytex has announced the addition of two new Android Skypad tablets to its range in the form of the Gemini and Protos. The two new tablets will be arriving in stores during July and both run Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.
Both Android tablets are also powered by a 1.2 GHz Arm Cortex A8 processor supported by 1GB RAM. With graphics provided by a Mali-400 graphics card.
Skytex Protos: A Feature-Rich 9.7” Tablet
The Protos, priced at $279, is a 9.7” tablet equipped with a wide-view IPS screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio. This aspect ratio is particularly beneficial for reading and browsing, providing a more natural and comfortable viewing experience. The Protos is also fitted with a 6000 mAh battery, which its manufacturers claim will provide 10-20 hours of continuous web surfing.
