Sigma has announced the new Sigma DS1 DSLR, which features a 46 megapixel 24×16mm APS-C X3 direct image sensor, plus a lightweight body made for magnesium alloy.
The SIGMA SD1 features a 24×16mm APS-C X3 direct image sensor and dual “TRUE (Three-layer Responsive Ultimate Engine) II” image processing engines.
There is also a 3 inch TFT LCD display with a 460,000 megapixel resolution, it will be available in February 2011, there are no details on pricing as yet, but you can check out the full specifications in the press release below.
