Seagate has this week unveiled a new large capacity hard disk drive which it has aptly named the Seagate Enterprise Capacity 3.5 HDD v4.
Which it claims to be the world’s fastest 6 TB HDD which has an operating speed of 7200 rpm making the new hard drive around 25% faster than any other tribes currently competing with it on the market.
Specifications of the new Enterprise Capacity 3.5 HDD v4 boasts offer the option for either a 12 Gb/s SAS connectivity, or standard SATA 6 Gb/s depending on your requirements, delivering a sustained transfer rate of up to 226 Mb per second.
Another great feature about the new Seagate 6 TB HDD is that it also offers the highest density storage per square foot currently on the market and fits into a standard 3.5 inch bay. Seagate explains :
