Samsung Mobile has had an excellent year, with the company beating its target of 325 million mobile phones sold in 2011, mainly thanks to the popularity of Samsung’s Galaxy range of smartphones.
Now Samsung has set themselves a new target for 2012, the company intends to sell over 374 million mobile phones next year, a 15 percent increase on this years target.
Samsung also expects to sell a lot of smartphones again, and has set themselves a target of 150 million smartphones in 2012, and we suspect that they will probably sell quite a few more than this target if the new Samsung Galaxy S III is as good as its predecessor.
