It looks like we have some details about the Samsung Galaxy S9 price for the UK. The handset will apparently retail for £789 in the UK, that is £100 more than the Samsung Galaxy S8 which retails for £689.
We presume that the Galaxy S9 Plus will also costs around £100 more than the Galaxy S8 Plus which retails for £779, that means that the Galaxy S9 Plus could cost £889. Smartphones certainly are getting more expensive, Apple’s iPhone X costs £999 in the UK.
Samsung are holding a press event for their Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus at Mobile World Congress later this month. The two handsets will be made official at a press event on the 25th of February at MWC 2018.
The two handsets will share a similar design to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, the displays on the devices are also said to be similar. There will be two processor options depending on the region, these will include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and the Samsung Exynos 9810.
The Galaxy S9 is rumored to come with 4GB of RAM and the Galaxy S9 Plus 6GB of RAM. Storage will start at 64GB and could go up to 512GB. The handsets will also use Samsung’s new mobile camera that it announced recently. The Galaxy S9 will get a single camera and the Galaxy S9 Plus dual cameras.
Samsung is expected to start pre-orders of both handsets on the 2nd of March 2018 and then launch them two weeks later on the 16th of February. We will have more details about the handsets at Mobile World Congress later this month.
