The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are expected to be made official at Mobile World Congress next month. Now we have some details on a new accessory for the handsets, the Samsung Dex Pad.
Samsung has filed a trademark for the Dex Pad at the European Union Intellectual Property Office, the device is expected to be the new Dex Station for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Although the new name suggests that the device will have a different form factor to the Dex Station for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will come with different processors by region, some regions will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and others will have the Samsung Exynos 8910. The new handsets will have 6GB of RAM as standard, there may also be an 8GB model.
Other specifications on the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will include a choice of storage from 64GB to 512GB, the handsets will also come with updated cameras. The Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature a 12 megapixel rear camera and the Galaxy S9 Plus will come with dual 12 megapixel camera. Both handsets will come with Android 8.0 Oreo.
