Samsung has started shipping the pre-orders of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in the company’s home country, but it seems it’s not as smooth as the company might have expected.
Some customers who have received their devices are now complaining about a reddish tint on their smartphone’s display.
Responding to the complains of the customers, Samsung said, “It is not a quality problem and it can be adjusted with the phone itself. If the color still appears to be reddish, customers can change it at the service center.”
The report suggests that correcting the phone’s display doesn’t help much and editing the settings of the phone’s display doesn’t help it much.
There’s no word about how widespread the issue really is but we’ll find out more about it as soon as the smartphone starts shipping to customers in other global markets as well. Let’s hope it’s not as problematic as the fire issues which plagued the Galaxy Note 7.
