The new Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone will come with new voice activated assistant which Samsung is calling Bixby and now the company has filed a trademark for Bixby Vision.
According to the guys over at Sammobile, Bixby will be able to communicate with the front and rear cameras on the handset.
The cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S8 will apparently be able to be used for visual search in conjunction with Bixby, so we presume this is where the Bixby Vision name will be used.
Samsung revealed earlier that they will not be announcing their new Galaxy S8 smartphone at Mobile World Congress next month, so will have to wait a little longer to see the device.
We are looking forward to finding out more details about Samsung’s Bixby, as it is said to come with a number of new features for an AI assistant.
