Samsung is apparently working on the upcoming Galaxy S8, and we’ve seen several rumors hinting at the specifications of the alleged device.
According to a new rumor, the alleged handset is expected to come with an optical fingerprint sensor helping the Korean company introduce a truly full-screen device.
It seems the company may have found a way to implement the new fingerprint sensor technology under the display, but one thing to note here is that it will make the device a little heavier. Nonetheless, Samsung is having some problems to make sure the device’s form factor.
Rumors suggest the handset will come with a 5.5-inch display sporting a 4K resolution, 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage with Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system.
Samsung has already confirmed the handset is not launching earlier than its regular schedule as it’s not easier to push the schedule on the last moment. We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more.
