Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to launch next month possibly at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.
According to a new report, Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to ship with Bluetooth 5.0. There’s a possibility that it may be the first handset to come with the feature at the moment.
Bluetooth 5.0 is the latest technology by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group as the latest version, and comes with a handful of improvements and new features, including faster speed, longer range and larger broadcast message capacity, as well as improved interoperability and coexistence with other wireless technologies.
Rumors suggest that the handset will come with top of the line specifications and is expected to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset is expected to come in two screen sizes: 5.7-inches and 6.2-inches.
The Korean company is a part of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, and it completely makes sense for the company opt for the latest technologies, and may as well be the first ones to deploy it in their smartphones.
