We heard yesterday that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones would be announced at an event on the 29th of March and now it looks like we have some details on when the handsets will hit the stores.
According to a recent report by The Guardian, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will go on sale in the UK some time around the 21st of April, either on that date or shortly before or after that date.
The new Galaxy S8 is expected to be the first smartphone to launch with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, Samsung are said to have helped Qualcomm develop the processor.
The two devices are also rumored to come with 6GB of RAM and a choice of storage options up to 256GB, we can also expect the handsets to feature a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 will also come with Samsung’s new voice activated assistant which is called Bixby, there will also be a feature called Bixby Vision which will be some sort of visual search using the cameras on the handsets.
As soon as we get some more details about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, including some more photos of the device, specifications and confirmation of the launch date, we will let you know.
