As well as the Galaxy Note 5, Samsung will announce the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus at their press event on the 13th of August.
We previously heard that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus would come with a 16-megapixel rear camera, and this has now been confirmed by India’s import database, Zauba.
The handset is listed on Zauba with a 16-megapixel camera, the same camera that is used on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The device will also come with a 5-megapixel front camera, making it a solid choice for selfie enthusiasts and video callers alike.
Enhanced Display and Performance
Other specifications on the new Galaxy S6 Edge Plus include a 5.7-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This high-resolution display ensures that users will enjoy crisp and vibrant visuals, whether they are watching videos, playing games, or browsing the web. The larger screen size compared to the original S6 Edge makes it more suitable for media consumption and multitasking.
The handset will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, which is known for its efficiency and performance. This octa-core processor is built on a 14nm process, making it one of the most advanced processors available at the time. It promises to deliver smooth performance and handle demanding applications with ease.
Additionally, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will come with 4GB of RAM. This is a significant upgrade from the 3GB of RAM found in the original S6 Edge, allowing for better multitasking and faster performance. Users can expect a seamless experience when switching between apps and running multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additional Features and Anticipation
The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is expected to come with a range of additional features that will enhance the user experience. These may include a larger battery to support the bigger screen and more powerful hardware, as well as improved software features that take advantage of the device’s unique curved display. Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, which runs on top of Android, is likely to include new functionalities and optimizations for the Edge Plus.
We will have more details on this new version of the S6 Edge along with the new Galaxy Note 5 when it is announced next month. The anticipation for these devices is high, as Samsung continues to innovate and push the boundaries of smartphone technology.
