Samsung has had great success with its Galaxy S3 smartphone the company is estimated to have sold over 60 million Galaxy S3 devices and now according to a recent report, Samsung has even bigger plans for the Galaxy S4.
According to Jeffries & Company Analyst Peter Misek, Samsung has plans to sell over 100 million units of their Samsung Galaxy S4, which we are expecting to be unveiled at a Samsung Unpacked event on the 15th of March.
“The enormous 100 million S4 build plan (we estimate the S3 sold 60M) is leading some suppliers to say that they will reallocate resources away from Apple,”
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to come in two variants at launch, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the smaller Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, both devices are expected to launch at the same time between the 15th and 22nd of April in the UK and Europe and in the US in May or June.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to come with a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Samsung are also expected to debut their new 8 core Exynos Octa 5 processor in their Galaxy S4 and it will apparently come clocked at 1.8GHz.
Other rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S4 include 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built in storage, it is also rumored to feature a 13 megapixel camera and a range of new technology which includes touchless gestures and also Eye tracking technology.
