One of the big announcements we are expecting at this years Mobile World Congress is the launch of the next generation Samsung Galaxy S smartphone, which is expected to be called the Galaxy S III.
We have been hearing rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be unveiled at MWC 2012 next month, and now according to Eldar Murtzain the device will go on sale in April of this year.
Murtzain has also said that he has got his hands on the new Samsung Galaxy S III a,d the device is reported to feature a 12 megapixel camera, this is something that we have heard in previous rumors.
Other rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S III include a HD multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, we were expecting the device to feature Samsung’s new dual core 2GHz Exynos 5250 processor and 2GB of RAM, although Murtzain has said that it will come with a quad core 1.5GHz or 1.6GHz processor.
We are looking forward to seeing what Samsung has to unveil, and we suspect that these rumored specifications wont be too far off the final device when it is unveiled next month.
Samsung has done incredibly well with its range of Galaxy smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S II is an extremely popular device and it will be interesting to see if the company can build on the handsets success with the third generation version.
