The Samsung Galaxy S is due to get an update to Android 2.2 (Froyo) some time in September of this year, although if you don’t want to wait that long a test firmware with Android 2.2 has been leaked.
The guys over at Samsung Firmwares have got their hands on a new firmware for the Galaxy S with Android 2.2, and they will apparently be making it available for download later today.
Before you download and install this firmware on your Samsung Galaxy S, it must be noted that this is a test firmware and some features may not work properly, there is no support for Flash in the web browser.
