Samsung announced their new Galaxy Note 10.1 a while back. At the time of the announcement, we didn’t have any pricing on the device, but now we have some details for all of the various models.
The entry-level Samsung Galaxy Note, which comes with WiFi and 16GB of built-in storage, will retail for £414 including taxes. The WiFi and 3G versions, also with 16GB of built-in storage, will retail for £508.80 including taxes.
These prices have not been announced by Samsung as yet; they were released by UK mobile retailer Clove. Have a look at the pricing details below.
Features and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is designed to be a versatile device, catering to both productivity and entertainment needs. It features a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, providing sharp and vibrant visuals. The device is powered by an Exynos 5 Octa processor, ensuring smooth performance for multitasking and running demanding applications.
One of the standout features of the Galaxy Note 10.1 is the S Pen, which offers precise input for drawing, note-taking, and navigation. The S Pen is integrated with various software enhancements, such as Air Command, which provides quick access to essential functions like Screen Write, Action Memo, and Smart Select.
The tablet also includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, suitable for capturing photos and video conferencing. Additionally, the Galaxy Note 10.1 supports expandable storage via a microSD card slot, allowing users to increase the storage capacity up to 64GB.
Market Position and Competitors
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is positioned as a premium tablet, competing with other high-end devices such as the Apple iPad and the Microsoft Surface. Its combination of powerful hardware, the S Pen, and a suite of productivity tools makes it an attractive option for professionals and creatives alike.
In comparison to its competitors, the Galaxy Note 10.1 offers a unique value proposition with the S Pen and its associated features. While the Apple iPad has the Apple Pencil, the S Pen is included with the Galaxy Note 10.1, providing additional value without the need for a separate purchase. The Microsoft Surface, on the other hand, is known for its versatility as a 2-in-1 device, but it comes at a higher price point.
We still do not have any details on when the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will be released in the UK. As soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
