We have been hearing lots of rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6 Plus smartphones. Samsung have just made these two handsets official and we have all the details and specifications on these new Android devices.
First up is the Samsung Galaxy A6, this handset comes with a 5.6 inch display with a HD+ resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels and it is powered by an octa core 1.6GHx processor. The handset comes with a choice of 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB and 64GB of storage.
There is also a microSD card slot which takes up to a 256GB card and it comes with a 3000 mAh battery and front and rear cameras. On the front there is a 16 megapixel camera for Selfies and on the back there is a 16 megapixel camera for photos and videos. The handset comes with Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 plus features a larger 6 inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels. This handset is powered by an octa core 1.8GHz processor and it comes with a choice of 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB and 64GB of storage.
The A6 Plus features a microSD card slot for expansion and a 3500 mAh battery, it also comes with front and rear cameras. On the front there is a 24 megapixel camera for Selfies. On the back there is a dual camera setup with one 16 megapixel camera and one 5 megapixel camera. Tne handset comes with Android 8.0 Oreo.
Samsung have said that both devices will launch this month in Europe, Asia and Latin America, they will then be released globally at a later date. As yet there is no information on pricing.
