After the Galaxy Note 7 explosion debacle, rumors began to show up hinting at the early launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 to counter the loss on the Note series handset. It seems that may not turn out to be true if the latest report is to be believed.
According to a new report from South Korean, citing a high-ranking company official, the company has no plans to launch the Galaxy S8 early.
The official said, “Currently we do not have any plans to release Galaxy S8 early.” This means the handset will launch on its regular schedule. Furthermore, the official also said, “Pushing release date forward all of sudden is something that is realistically impossible.” This makes complete sense as the planning for a new handset is done way before it enters the manufacturing facility, and changing it all of a sudden is not possible.
Samsung may launch some others handsets in the meantime. We’ll update you if we get to hear anything more about the launch and availability of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. Stay tuned to Geeky Gadgets.
