Earlier today we heard a rumor that Samsung had stopped production of their Galaxy Note 7 handset over further safety claims about the second batch of handsets.
Now Samsung has released an official statement and the company has said that they are ‘adjusting’ Note 7 production and not stopping it.
We are temporarily adjusting the Galaxy Note 7 production schedule in order to take further steps to ensure quality and safety matters,”
There have been reports over the weekend and at the end of last week of a number of the new Note 7 handsets catching fire.
Samsung are apparently looking into the matter as are the US safety regulators, if you own a Note 7 whether it is the new one or the old one, it is recommended that you stop using the device and turn it off.
