Samsung has this week announced the imminent launch of the new Samsung 860 Evo and 860 Pro solid state drives (SSD) which will replace one of the most popular SSDs ever the awesome 850 Evo and 850 Pro drives. Samsung’s new 860 PRO and 860 EVO SSDs support up to 560 MB/s read and 530 MB/s write speeds and come supplied with a fantastic five-year limited warranty or up to 4,800 terabytes written (TBW) for the 860 PRO and up to 2,400 TBW for the 860 EVO.
The 860 PRO is available in a 2.5-inch form factor and offers storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB. With the 4TB version capable of holding up to 114 hours and 30 minutes of 4K Ultra HD video. The 860 EVO solid state drive (SSD) will be available in 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB6 capacities, again in a 2.5-inch form factor perfect for PCs and laptops.
