After unveiling their new Samsung curved Ultra HD 4K TVs earlier this week at the CES 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Samsung has today announced that their 105″ U9500 Curved Ultra High Definition TV and 85″ U9B Bendable UHD TV will be launching in the US in the second half of 2014.
The Samsung 105” U9500 Curved Ultra HD 4K TV is the world’s first and largest Curved Ultra HD 4K TV and provides owners with an aspect ratio of 21 x 9 to create a cinematic viewing experience in your home.
While Samsung’s 85″ inch U9B Bendable Ultra HD 4K TV is the world’s first and largest Ultra HD 4K TV that transforms from a flat panel to a curved TV design with a touch of a button.
The Curved Ultra HD 4K TVs support HEVC, HDMI 2.0, MHL 3.0 and HDCP 2 and HS Kim, executive vice president of the visual display business at Samsung Electronics explains:
“Given the tremendous media and industry reception for these new products, we are excited to bring our 105″ Curved UHD TV and 85″ Bendable UHD TV to consumers around the world,”-“People who are passionate about entertainment will have a whole new way to experience the content they love with these exciting new models that showcase exceptional design and UHD picture quality.”
No pricing has been announced by Samsung for either curved Ultra HD 4K TV as yet, but will we keep you updated as soon as prices are revealed, just don’t expect them to be cheap.
